We are a referral service, not a law firm
Brisbane Conveyancers is a lead generation and referral service. We connect property buyers and sellers with Queensland Law Society-member solicitors and conveyancing firms in our network. Brisbane Conveyancers is not a law firm, does not hold a practising certificate, and does not provide legal services or legal advice. All conveyancing work and legal advice is provided by the independent solicitor we connect you with.
Information only, not legal advice
Information on this website is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. It does not take into account your individual circumstances. Property law in Queensland is complex and changes over time. Obtain advice from a qualified solicitor about your specific situation before acting on anything you read here.
All legal work is done by an independent solicitor
Brisbane Conveyancers does not carry out conveyancing or any other legal work. In Queensland, conveyancing is legal work that must be carried out by a solicitor holding a current practising certificate, or under their supervision. When you make an enquiry, we connect you with an independent Queensland Law Society-member solicitor in our network, and that firm acts for you under its own terms of engagement. We are not responsible for the advice, conduct, fees, timing, or outcomes of any solicitor you engage.
Figures and dates are general and change
Any figures mentioned on this website, including transfer duty rates, first home concessions, the First Home Owner Grant amount, cooling-off periods, and scheme commencement or expiry dates, are general guidance only and were correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. These amounts and rules change over time, and eligibility depends on your circumstances. The Queensland First Home Owner Grant, for example, is currently $30,000 for eligible new homes under $750,000 and is scheduled to revert to $15,000 from 1 July 2026. Always verify current figures and your eligibility with a solicitor and with the Queensland Revenue Office (qro.qld.gov.au) before you rely on them.
Estimates and tools
Any calculators or estimates provided on this website are indicative only. They use general assumptions and published rates, do not account for every concession, exemption, or surcharge that may apply, and are not a quote. The actual cost of your conveyancing, including the professional fee and government charges and disbursements, will be set out by the solicitor you engage.
Fixed-fee quotes
Fixed-fee quotes are provided by the individual solicitor or firm we connect you with and typically cover standard professional fees for a routine transaction. Government charges, search fees, transfer duty and third-party disbursements are additional and vary by property. Confirm exactly what is and is not included in writing with your solicitor before you engage them.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that any matter will settle on a particular date, that any specific fee will apply, or that any grant or concession will be approved. Eligibility and outcomes are determined by the Queensland Revenue Office, your lender, and the solicitor you engage.
Reviews and trust signals
Any testimonials or sample reviews shown on this website that are marked as samples are placeholders only and do not represent specific clients. We do not publish fabricated reviews, solicitor names, or firm names.
