Terms of Use

Last updated 5 June 2026

These terms of use govern your access to and use of the Brisbane Conveyancers website. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About this service

Brisbane Conveyancers provides general conveyancing information. Queensland Law Society-member solicitors and conveyancing firms assist property buyers and sellers directly. Brisbane Conveyancers is not a law firm, does not hold a practising certificate, and does not provide legal services or legal advice. All conveyancing work and legal advice is provided by the independent solicitor you engage.

No solicitor-client relationship with this site

Using this website or submitting an enquiry does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and Brisbane Conveyancers. A solicitor-client relationship is formed only when you separately engage an independent solicitor, on that firm's own terms of engagement. Any legal advice, fixed-fee quote, costs disclosure and retainer is a matter between you and that solicitor.

Information only, not legal advice

Information on this website is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice. It does not take into account your individual circumstances. Property law in Queensland is complex and changes over time, and figures such as transfer duty rates, concessions and grant amounts can change. Obtain advice from a qualified solicitor about your specific situation before acting on anything you read here.

Referrals and third parties

The solicitors and conveyancing firms we refer you to are independent third parties. We do not control, supervise, or take responsibility for the advice, conduct, fees, timing, or outcomes of any solicitor you engage. We make no representation that any particular solicitor is suitable for your matter, and any decision to engage a solicitor is yours.

Acceptable use

To the extent permitted by law, Brisbane Conveyancers excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, your reliance on any information on it, or your dealings with any solicitor we connect you with.
